    Hello guys,

I am a newbie trying to learn Cinema4D, I accidentally hit some keys on my keyboard and it activated something that I can’t figure out what it was.
The issue is that I can’t move any object or select any polygons, vertices or edges and instead there is a cinema 4D tag added to the object that I try to move or select.
The tag is SDS weight tag.

I know in this image I am in the object mode and I can’t access polygons, etc but even in the object mode I can’t move the object and as I try to move it, the object won’t move and that tag will be added, same things happen when I try to select a polygon and move it.

    Thank you for your help.

Have you tried deleting the tag?

Yes, I did delete that but it kept adding itself back once I moved the object. I closed cinema 4D and opened it again and the issue still existed, even I opened several different files and it was the same problem again.
Anyway, I restarted my PC and it was all fixed, I really don’t know what was the issue.

you get that tag if you hold the “.” (period key) and left-click drag with an editable object, sounds like the key was stuck on (either physically or in the software somewhere)

Thank you Brian. I will keep it in mind in case I face that problem again.
