Dan, thanks for the reply. I’ve made a feature request to Adobe.

The slider method is a bit clumsy because its easy to mess up, I guess I’ll need to pay more attention 😉

Tim is right, you can control opacity with an expression as well.

I’ve made an example here:

I put expression control sliders on a Null so the control is in one location, just keyframe the values and you’re set.

Use the loopOut expression on the position property.

Not sure whether this will help but there’s also a script there (by the same author) that allows you to reposition the anchor point on selected layers.

Weird. I don’t have this issue with MXF files from P2 media. Just tried it and the audio plays fine.

However, I generally transcode the MXF to ProRes when I work with FCP.

Without seeing the footage its difficult to know what techniques you’ll need. If the camera moves, motion tracking is necessary.

If you have CS4 or CS5, MochaAE is your best bet. There are tutorials here:

Start with Steve Wright’s Learn Mocha Chapter 1 and work through the first 6 chapters, you’ll be well on your way.
