Yes I have v.9 installed but am using Vista 64.
I’ve tried using Handbrake and it seems to work okay, but I’d sure like to render from Vegas.

I just reinstalled Vegas 6d and have the same issue. It says “No existing templates support this media”. Mainconcept and Sony AVC.
The custom tab is grayed out.

I’m using Firewire. I’m able to capture using windows movie maker, but not Vegas. So that should rule out the cable and the card.

i bought a dell dual core two weeks ago. It’s a freakin’ nightmare. Stay away from it if you value your time and your sanity.
