capture problem
I have a cheap $200 samsung dv camera and when I try and capture in vegas 6d, I “think” vegas sees the cam because I can click capture and “capture duration c0unts off. But the screen is just black and no audio. This is in external capture mode. when I try internal, it just says “no device”. Any pointers?

Are you using USB or firewire when you try to capture?

I’m using Firewire. I’m able to capture using windows movie maker, but not Vegas. So that should rule out the cable and the card.
