how to make a mask
I have some 4/3 footage that I want to mix into a 16/9 hdv project. should i created a letterbox mask and apply to the 4/3 stuff so it looks the same? if so, what are the steps in vegas 6d?

There are several ways to create a letterbox mask, but the quickist would be event using pan/crop. There are presets for several widescreen modes.

Okay so how is it done? Or do I have to buy your dvd tutorial.

>Open the event Pan/Crop either with the button on the right side of the event, or by right-clicking and choosing Pan/Crop.
>Select one of the letterbox options from the drop-down preset selections.
