    Hi Everyone.
    I planning to buy the tascam dr-100 but i have a question, how do i mount the tascam to the canon 60d? it has a plastic 1/4 screw hole in the back but i have heard that it´s easily damage aftar a few months, what do you suggest? I have a second question. What boompole do you recommed to use with the tascam?

    I just returned a Tascam DR-100. The preamps are way too noisy. From what I hear, the Zoom H4n is better, but I haven’t used it myself. I ended up getting a JuicedLink DT454 and running the output directly to the camera. Nice clean preamps; sounds great! Great customer support as well.

    I attach my Tascam to my rails with a 1/4 to 5/8 fitting.
