Good to know. But as long as it just occurs on playback, it’s just a nuisance for me. I suppose if your cross fades were fairly long it would get annoying.

It’s just a bug introduced with 10.3.3. Completely recreatable. Report it. Nothing you can do. But the saving grace is that it doesn’t occur on exports.

This is a reported bug that occurs after a cross fade, whether it be audio or a dissolve. If there is a fade on the audio earlier in the clip, you’ll hear it at any point after when you start playback. It doesn’t occur on output. You don’t have any cross fades on the audio before the point you’re starting playback?

So, if someone has logged clips based on duration / simple counter instead of TC, my solution is to drag out a range on the clip in the browser which, if you have show clip info on (ctrl Y I think) then you’ll see the duration right there at the mouse cursor as you drag. It makes it easy to find the logged point.

Highlight all the media in the event, right click and choose to transcode media. Then choose proxy. If it already has proxy it won’t create it again.

You’re in chiclet mode. At the top of the color palette click the little rgb sliders icon. I believe you’ll also be able to enter hex values.

Have you tried it with the premultiply box off? That would be the preferred setting. That would be a straight alpha matte. Also check your project settings in Motion. Isn’t there a setting in there to render a solid background o something like that? Not at my computer right now…

To reset the keyer settings, simply click the little u-turn arrow at the top right of the keyer effect in the inspector.
