Sony will PLAY and RECORD DVCAM or DV.

as a reliable work-horse is the DSR=11. -
First, go to the Window (pull-down menu)> Arrange and try “Restore Window Layout…” (or some of the other choices).

Two ways.
1. Make one (or more) COPY(s) of the timeline and delete “around” the clip that you want to export.
And then export that special short timeline.
That way you can KEEP a version of the exported clip .2. Set an IN-point and and OUT-point marking the clip on the full timeline that you want to export.
The export should then be only the portion you marked.I prefer #1.

During capture, did you have any TC breaks?
Did FCP “create new clips” after a TC break?Are you sure you are adding the filter TCR (Timecode READER) and not TCG (Timecode GENERATOR)?

Sorry to hear that.
Other than careful use of EQ filter (3-band or otherwise) and a level adjustment, you may just have to live with it.
Or use the infamous “RESHOOT FILTER.”

I’d also Trash the DH Subtitler’s Preferences.

Mute one of the audio tracks in FCP, listen, then open it back up and mute the other, listen again.
See if you can find the cleanest track and use it.
If you’re still having trouble…
Go back to the master tape, play it and plug headphones directly into the deck and listen to one ear and then the other.
See of the audio is, in fact “lav on one channel”, “boom on the other” and if one or the other is “clear.”
After you find out, please post back.
