The point of my original post is you can’t always tell from “looking”.
If the station/network gets in some 16:9 (letterbox or “squished”) SD spots, the can re-format them to run as 16:9 in the HD “feed”.
Many hiqh-quality SD spots will look great in up-sampled HD.But if you’re going to enter the HD production game “for real”, you should invest in, for instance, DVC ProHD gear.
Yes, it would be possible to deliver digital spots (SD or HD) on a hard drive.
IF… the station/network has the means (and desire) to convert it to their playback system or format.

Good idea.
“Animated” (moving) “slides” for a TV station is a perfect use for this technology.
At the highest quality setting, TiVo’s image is amazing, and you’d have HOURS of space on the drives.
And, the price is virtually “FREE” compared to the ridiculous prices broadcast tech companies charge for something like a “real” still-store or CG.Call up the TiVo menu (I’m sure every entry says “Manual Recording”) and choose by the “time-stamp” (I’m guessing) and you can be playing any clip within a couple of seconds.
But, no, for PROGRAM MASTERING STORAGE, I would not recommend TiVo.

You can record to tape from all four inputs at once.
The record mode must be in 32 KHz/12 bit to record each input independently to its own track.
The on-camera mic (or optional external mic[s]) can be used in the “front” and other source[s] (mic[s] or mixer[s]) can be recorded in the “back”.
During editing, you will be able to send these all out independently to the edit system.

I assume you mean “front and back”.
What are you trying to “take it” into?
Or do you mean record ONTO (into) the camcorder?

When in doubt, you should always “ask the seller a question” on ebay.
Never bid “blind”.

Click once on (highlight) the “old” clip (before you “remove” it) and hit Apple-C (Copy).
Replace (Overwrite) the “old” clip with the “new” clip.
Click once on (highlight) the “new” clip and hit Option-V (Paste Attributes).
When the Attributes window comes up, choose as many of the check-boxes that apply (“Basic Motion” is the one for movement and position key-rames.)

Are you sure they are in the plug-ins Library for FCP5 (and not the one for FCP4)?
If they ARE in the proper place then:
The first thing to always try is to Quit FCP, Restart the Mac, Open your FCP project and try again.

A great way to do this is to use “FCP Rescue” a free Apple Script that will Trash the Preferences for you (and restore nearly all of your user settings afterward).
