Works fine with both Sony EX3 and PMW-350. I am recording important footage on the shuttle in DNxHD mov files although Premiere CS 5 cannot read them. An earlier software release of shuttle software worked fine with cs5. I can recommend it. It create much better footage than the very compressed footage on the EX format.
Hi
I use the DNxHD Mov files – compressed files ending with .mov.
Premiere cannot understand them – not even with the latest driver AVID LE 2.3.7 package. The shuttle can still only be used with the enormous uncompressed files. There is no prores on the Hyperdeck shuttle 2 !
Only solution is to buy another codec converter like “Calibrated MXF Import” and use it with the DNxHD.MXF files. Why dont BM make it compatible with premiere?

It is for sure that filming Golf in 24 fps would make a bad result. You need to record in higher framerates like a 1920×1090 interlaced format 29,97. If your customer is from the US – record in a US format.
Hi
I have not tested but read elsewhere that the Nikon D800 do not output audio in the HDMI stream…..
CS5 do not work with AVID DNxHD or the AVID Quicktime format from the Black Magic Hyperdeck Shuttle 2.
Hi
I have the same problem with my Asus X58 – P6T7 WS SuperComputer motherboard and my Decklink HD Extreme. I have considered to buy a newer motherboard but it seems as if it will not help.
