    Thanks.
I have seen mixers where the SDI inputs were synced but the DVI was not. Thanks for clarifying.

    Have you tried a 8 or 10 bit sequence in 1920×1080 50i.
I cannot get it to playback anything but these types – and always interlaced timeline.

Guess only CS 5.5 support AVID DNxHD Mov files – CS5 do not. I cannot imort them into CS5 but play them with quicktime player.
    Avid Codec 2.3.7 installed.
Now I just need to upgrade to the newest Adobe CS package to make it work.
This update is great and makes the shuttle2 a very usefull recorder. Thanks BM.

Hmm – just tried the audio and it is not there. As stated in the manual 24 bit audio cannot be seen from premiere by the use of the software. Loading of the clips by restarting the project takes a long time without premiere stating whats going on. Hope this will work in the final version.

    Hi
Be sure that the AVID DNxHD MXF files fra Black Magic can be directly imported into FCP – they cannot into Adobe Premiere.
The Black Magic recorder needs to be started on the recorder itself – it will not start/stop when TC on the input is starting and stopping.

If the Aja recorder supports that – I would recommend the AJA.
I own a Shuttle 2 and I need to buy further software to get the files into premiere – I need to buy a plate before I can mount the shuttle on the camera too.

Hi – just downloaded the new version of calibrated MXF and it WORKS.
I will buy it when I got a new computer so I do not lock it to my old computer. It seems there is four resets of the software so you can change something on the computer 4 times and then the software ends. I had so much bad experience with this and windows so I will wait until I got a never system.

    Hi
The Calibrated MXF Import will come out in the final version within a week so I will have to wait for the demo version 🙂

Just realized that the Shuttle converts HDMI to HD-SDi and HD-SDI to HDMI and is much cheaper than the standalone mini box converter from BM. And you would need two of them to be able to convert both ways.
    Crazy.
