Glad you were able to sort it out. Converting PS layers into separate objects is a cool feature of RED but it can not be done on movies, only on stills.

Derek, thanks for reporting. Our support will be in contact with you shortly. The original post, I believe, referred to FCP7 integration and I think it is solved in subsequent updates. FCPX integration is new to version 2.1.
We may need a sample of your FCPX project to replicate the problem.

While I can’t comment on our product plans, from history you can tell that many new BCC filters end up in RED package. Flicker Fixer is a good one. Sorry that it’s not yet included.
