The best way to recreate Title 3D and Title Crawl is to use RED 5 as a filter in PPro. You will enjoy the same UI and text features. If you want to stay on the Mac, we are just about to update RED 5 with Premiere CS5 compatible plugins. It’s not quite ready yet but will be soon.

Depending on your OS the plugins are installed to a fixed folder (MediaCore) .

Under Material group select Diffuse Color. That’s the color which defines the main tint of the 3D surface.

try to save it as Illustrator 8. Also, if the file only had RGB data (meaning raster image data) you will not be able to access splines in RED. However, you may be able to convert to splines by using our Vector Trace feature.

Nic,
The three apps – Avid, FCP and AE – all have different keyframe interpolation formula. Although we do our best to match the curve, sometimes you will need to manually adjust the parameters to achieve a perfect match.

A good place to start is https://www.borisfx.com. Type Color Correction in the site google search field. There are a number of tutorials and demos available for color matching and correction. See if that helps.

Since Lens Flare is an OGL effect, there is a number of things got check: a driver version (should be the latest), dual monitor setup if any, etc. It’s hard to diagnose on the forum, please call 888-77-BORIS and speak to our support rep.
