sorry I meant when fcp says it can not find the camera I
click continue, not cancel.

not sure if this will help…but, FCP does not recognize my camera, when it says it
can not find it, I click cancel, go to log and capture and it captures.

I have the same camera, the shutter speed should not affect it.

Did you lay all clips in the same sequence?
What settings did you capture at?

Further info, you may want to start shooting 24pa and
use cinema tools to do reverse telecine to get 24p until FCP comes
up with an update for the V1U.

Ok…sorry, I have 5.0.4 and had to register for the filters.

You get them when you register your copy of Motion.
