The gamma within FCP is always a bit darker. The only way to actually see what it will look like while doing CC is to use a broadcast monitor.

Do yourself a favour and get P2 Genie. It takes care of everything when offloading.

To view the clips in the camera, the recording mode must match the frame rate of the clips.

I don’t have the HVX yet but I’m curious about some of your variables like:

1. What Cine-Gamma are you using?
2. What are you viewing your footage on? LCD or CRT?
