Your problem could be a bunch of different things, a corrupted source file for one, instead of buring to a disk try buring to a ISO file or to a folder vice a disk and see if you still get a problem of somekind, it will help to pin down the cause, it could be not enough memory or disk cache space, firm ware problems in the burner, burner problems, burn media not so hot, alot of times this happens as some branded media switches suppliers,

To see what variations for “Internal target failure” there are, do a net search for the same.

The reason I’m asking what camcorder model you are capturing from is to determine what you are getting for footage, If you have black bars on the sides of a wS project and you captured as WS you may have letterboxed 4:3 footage The workflow will determine whats happening, you should have said from the start: “I am capturing WS footage from a CANONxxxxxx that was shot on a XXXXxxxx to a project using a NTSC Widescreen preset, then describe how you are exporting it, settings, etc.

[Raf1] “I burned the next copy to DVD+RW so I could stop wasting DVDs until I figured out what was happening. Well, the project played through on the DVD+RW so I burned another DVD+R and it stopped at the same point as the others. To make a long story short, I just exported 5 copies of the project to DVD+RW and called it a night”
Did you try another project to see if it did the same thing? Try making a copy of the +rw to a +r on the same burner and see if it does the same thing, if its not a data problem it maybe a burner problem.

When you say you captured in widescreen, what camcorder did you capture from?

Also when you say you have black bars on the sides is that in widescreen or standard?

[tilker] “Since EX1 can not write in stantard definition, what will i do if a client ask for SD? I will shoot at HD, i will edit in HD and then i will change the quality at SD? And how i will do that.”
You should start a new thread if you are not replying to the current one, anyway the EX1 will downconvert the HD-SDI to SD-SDI or output component/S-video SD
