Magix DVD Architect – which used to be Sony Vegas DVD Architect is around – only links I’ve found are for the academic version (B&H and Adorama) so you may have to do some digging.
Good luck.

Agree on RX Izotope – both the Dialog Isolate and Voice De-noise modules are excellent in getting rid of unwanted sounds…unfortunately these are part of the “Advanced” package that’s going to cost at least $800 unless you catch one of their sales such as Black Friday.

I’ve used Levelator usually as a starting point when I have audio with very inconsistent levels – usually when a speaker is using a handheld mic inconsistently.

I find iZotope, and the “Dialogue Isolate” module have worked well for me in situations I thought were impossible.
We do an educational event each year in a college gym of all places, where the gym is filled with several hundred people divided into 10 person tables with medical students group-interviewing patients.
We use Tascam or Zoom recorders at each table to capture audio of the interactions our client wants for training purposes.

Hi – don’t know if this will be of help as my projects are more recording narration and voice overs, not vocal tracks – but I’ve used a Yeti for about a year….I prefer to record in Audition and do my processing there – never had an issue with playback speed.
Are you recording at 48000 HZ?

March 5, 2020 at 1:16 pm in reply to: Audio falling out of sync, 8MM / Hi8 Capture Capture, Premiere Pro CC 2019It’s been a few years since I’ve worked with Hi8 – when I transferred my own I actually used my original camera as the source deck and copied first to mini DV then captured via Firewire to Premiere, and prior to that, FCP7
I don’t recollect any out of sync issues.
