Instant Dialogue Cleaner?
Hello,
I’m looking for a way to keep only the voices in a short video and remove basically all kinds of background noises. In another topic (see below), someone mentioned something called “Instant Dialogue Cleaner”, some kind of plugin that can be used with different software hosts. The only one of the list that I have being Adobe Premiere, I tried to use it… but I have no clue how Premiere works. I just want to get that “magic knob” (see the video at the very end of that link : https://forums.creativecow.net/docs/forums/post.php?forumid=168&postid=857203&univpostid=857203&pview=t ) because I cannot handle anything more complicated than that…
Does anyone know how to get that knob with Premiere and how to use it? Or maybe someone can tell me with software would be more appropriate for someone like me who has 0 experience in audio mixing? Here’s the list of compatible software hosts:

By far the best option for dialogue clean-up is the Izotope RX product line.

It’s the industry standard, it’s easy to use, and nothing else comes anywhere close in terms of quality.

Agree on RX Izotope – both the Dialog Isolate and Voice De-noise modules are excellent in getting rid of unwanted sounds…unfortunately these are part of the “Advanced” package that’s going to cost at least $800 unless you catch one of their sales such as Black Friday.

Izotope is the popular heavy gun for this…
There is a cheaper alternative, and you can buy the modules buffet-style as you decide you need them. They also let you try them for free. While they have full on adjustments they also come in a “one-knob” version that makes them fast and easy.
There’s a bunch of them out there, when I remember the specific brand I was looking at I’ll post, but meanwhile, some of them are available via FX Factory.
