I’ve got both a Macbook and 20″iMac, I’d forget about running FCP on the Macbook not unless you get a MacBook Pro, AE 7 and PS CS2 also run slowly on my Macbook and great on the iMac.

If you have the money get yourself the MacBook Pro (if the laptop is what you want)

My 2 Cents anyway

Alexxx , thanks so just so I know I’m on the right track, to render for widescreem DVD I must use square pixels. So should I render using a different codec.
