thx a lot.. it’s weired.. on my old computer it was installed.. same CD, same package, same installation…

now on the new computer, it’s not in the options anymore…

the old one was a vista 32bit, the new one is a vista 64bit.. hmm, could that cause that issue ?

really appreciate your reply.. but I can’t follow you.

when I try to load the .rpf I already get an error.
But anyways, I just click ok when the message pops up: unsuported bit depth.

so what do you mean ?

once loaded and on a layer, I can go to the Effects panel, and choose the Utility–> HDR Compander

Once this is done, I only have the option:
Compress Expand Dynamic Range

but when I do this, I still get the error message, and my image appears still black.. nothing changed…

so what do I have to do ?

it wasn’t really the answer I was looking for.
I was looking for a simple selection solution.

I’ve explored and know already how I can use the track mattes, but I wanted to do somethign much more easier.

In Photoshop, you can simple select an Alpha Layer, or also a Channel and his saved Alpha inside.

Simple Click the Layer, or the Channel while pressing down the ALT button. Done… you get a selection, so you can cut out things.

This is my question – how can I make such a simple selection in AE ?

Interpret Footage and loop it two times….

Thank you guys, I fixed this… but got another very interesting issue…

during playing with the time warp effect, I can’t figure out how I can make an entire footage with a slwo motion of 50%.

I import the footage into a new comp.
I make it double long as the original.

I use 50% speed, but it’s weired, the video doesn’t play until to the end…. it stops mcuh earlier… but I want to have the entire video footage 50% slow until to the end…

what to do ?

so, is htat motion blur tool you are talking about a plugin for after effects ? or does it come with afer effects ?

well, my scene is very easy, I just have a plane, and let the plane fly… but I coudl see that some renders take to long for rendering the motion blur, so I want to make it in post..

ok, if that’s a plugin, can you post me to the official website, plus maybe you have some test videos, so I can see the effect … thx a lot

Hello friends !

I’ts really a shame, that After Affects can’t handle a .mp2 format, even if it was exported with After Effects.

I don’t understand that – it’s really a shame for that software….. and makes me really sad.

So, now I do have my DVD format exported, with the sound and everything else, and how can I reuse that footage again for other compositions ? I want to make a trailer, and only need parts of it….

Using a different software ? come one, that’s absurd.
