hmmm, okay, it doesn’t like mp2, that’s funny…
so, I only have the mp2 file and ae.. if I would import the mp2 and export is a movie to any other, it will not work, because ae can’t handle mp2… what a shame…so, which free software I can use to convert the mpg2 file to any other file ae can handle…. ???
thx,

well, I don’t want to split, I want to cut my original file into two pieces.
I don’t want to burn a DVD. I want to keep my original files, and burn it onto a data disc, nothing more.
media4pc is just a compressor, that splits files, like winrar or other tools.
That’s not what I want to do.
I want to cut my original footage into two seperate peices, and burn that on a DVD.
thx a lot,

well, the reason why I would like to use AE, is the great plugin Shine from Trapcode, it’s really perfect, and I’ve never could see such a similar effect made with Photoshop.
Hmm, or can we reach the same result in Photoshop too ?
thx a lot…

okay, I do understand now.
Let’s ask right question: I want to know, which format I do have to export from AE, to make a DVD in a Authoring Software ?
If I would export uncompressed, I get 180 GB for 1h20 minutes.
So, I would like to know, whihc format I have to export, to get a smaller size of file, but not lossing quality, and so that I can use this format in my authoring tool.thx a lot….

yes, and I’v made another test, just saved a jpg file image pure white, after this I’ve added some spheres, shapes, color, shadows… and the image size pumped up…..
never didn’t realized that…. thx a lot my friends.

wow, that’s really interesting, I didnt know that.
Because I thought if you made some animations, it’s nothing else than images, or better an image sequence. If I would use these images in Flash, well… I would use 141 images for each movie. I thouht it doesn’t matter which images, because every image has the same size.
And so the content of the image… well, I thought wouldn’t matter.
I can remember, I did some flash animations 5 years ago, and I’ve loaded the image sequence into my flash scene, just one layer.
Hmmm, so I am still wondering that it makes a difference what is happening on the images, or better the content.
Or maybe this is just the export from After Effects, I think that would need another test to get sure…
as I said, I just can’t imagine that an image with 1024×300 with a ball on it, and a second image with 3 or 4 balls on it, and the same resolution has another size……
hmm, but guess what, as more I think about, I think you are right, it must be this point, like more balls –> more color information, bigger size of the image.
hmmm…. however,
thx a lot for all your minds and suggestions.
