I installed the new ones to default areas, but when I go to use on a video, it goes all the way through the process, and when it’s through it says:
” Despite planning for all possible contingencies Deshaker Script had the following error: “The system cannot find the path specified”
What is going on? It did this on my other computer also, that is running Vegas 6.0. -
Neither of the posts are the one I am refering to. This is the one that I am refering to: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-GmYaiIuuA.
But, thanks for the quick responses.

I see where you are saying now. I have that on Vegas 6. But on my other comp w/8.0 it doesn’t come up that way. On it, when I press file/capture or use the video capture icon on the toolbar, the capture preview window comes up. It doesn’t give you the option of choosing DV/HD on my V8. Why would it be any different between 6/8?

Doesn’t work that way. If I go into Vegas, go to “Option/Preferences/Video Tab”, then UNCHECK “Use external video capture, and apply, then go to “capture video”, it will recognize it, but according to the manual, there is a radio button to choose either DV or HD (which there is none). Also, when I uhcheck the external video capture mode, the preview area goes from the big screen, to one that is barely visible (not really, but a very small area) Is there not a way that it can be set up to recognize what ever camera you hook up, whether it be DV or HD, without having to change all this stuff every time?

But are they sensitive enough to pickup the pastor/bride/groom? And do they pick up all the background noise also? I will have the groom mic’d with a cordless, but would like to have all three of the back’d up in case of audio problems.

What do you mean by “select all camera events and run the Reset Pan/Crop tool”? I understand selecting all the tracks, but how do you restet Pan/Crop?

Now, I want the cursor on timeframe to stay the same, I just want to move the event to the left or right, without moving where I have my cursor positioned. I did this before about 6 months ago but forgot how I did it. I tried to use the number pad yesterday and it seemed to just go to the end or beginning of the event. I hope I am making myself understood. I am trying to line or syc up tracks, and I just want to be able to fine tune the positions of the tracks.

when capturing, the counter showing the current tape position doesn’t count, it stays at “0”, but when you are capturing, the capture counter works. What would cause this? I just did a wedding edit in November and it seemed to be working then, at least I’m pretty sure that it did. The only difference between now and then, is now I am capturing from a Digital 8 camera, and then I was using my DVX100B.

So the version before CS3, was Pro 2.0, Pro 1.5, then 6.5?

It seems to import fine to Sony Vegas Pro. I am just wanting to put some mov files together, and have been wanting to learn PP, and can’t figure out why one NLE will accept them, and another one won’t.
