Ha! I’ll let them know 🙂
On another note: I haven’t tried the CA Corrector in PS CS2, but you could always do a batch on an image sequence in Photoshop, using its filter…
Not the prettiest solution, but it would do it for now.

Well, you could probably do a meshwarp, where you manually tweak the warp mesh to get the exact displacement you need.

You could precompose the layers that need to be treated, and apply the effect to the comp.

Try deleting the preference file.
Hold down Ctrl+Alt+Shift immediately after starting After Effects until you get a message to confirm deleting the preferences.

Actually… the Color Key is a very primitive and crude effect. If you have the Pro version of AE 6.0 or 6.5, it comes with Keylight (separate installer from the CD), which is a very good tool for removing blue or green backgrounds. The documentation that comes with it is very helpful in explaining how to approach a chromakey.

The documentation that comes with Keylight is definitely very good. I’d start there.

April 24, 2005 at 8:15 pm in reply to: How can you make the paint tool look more like actual pencil drawings? No custom brushes like Painter. But you could try to give the strokes a little bit of texture and irregularity by applying Roughen Edges to the strokes and playing around with texture scale etc.

For chromakeying you’ll need the Professional Version of AE. If you have 6.0 Pro or 6.5 Pro, Keylight is also included as a separate installer from the CD. Keylight is one of the best tools for chromakeying in After Effects IMHO.
