November 4, 2015 at 2:22 am in reply to: Premier pro CC stutters, skips on playback with windows 10I fixed this problem by reverting back to premiere 2014. I spent an hour on the phone with Adobe Tech who took over my computer and installed it. Only way I could get it to work but it works like a charm.

October 25, 2015 at 11:27 pm in reply to: Premier pro CC stutters, skips on playback with windows 10No RAID just a 300 gig raptor for my C drive ops system. 5 other WD 2T Blacks for storage. I just replaced my E drive with a 1t WD Blue. Playback is better but now it plays fast like I’ve heard about with others with a playback problem. Everything else is fine.

October 24, 2015 at 11:00 pm in reply to: Premier pro CC stutters, skips on playback with windows 10I havent had any success with any footage on the line. 1080, 24p Go pro, P2 cards. nothing on the playback. I just updated my audio driver and now it appears playback is faster with long audio pauses now. I got a warning of a failing HD I’m replacing as we speak hoping this will help. Anything!

October 24, 2015 at 2:32 pm in reply to: Premier pro CC stutters, skips on playback with windows 10Oops.
Sorry. been on a lot of forums trying to find the answer, thought my system specs were in my signature:Gigabyte GA EX58-UD5
i7CPU 920@2.67Ghz 2.66 Ghz
Gskill Ripjaw f3-8500CL7S-4gbrl DDR3-1066 PC-8500 4gbx1 spd cl7-7-7-1 8 1.5v
24 gig ram 6×4
GTX 680
Windows 10 64The thing is, I have been running this system for a long time and it has treated me well. The only problem is Premiere and I want to think it started after I upgraded to Windows 10 but hard to tell because CC pushes out so many updates.
I’m not opposed to rolling back to Premiere 2005 if that works and I knew how. It’s impossible to edit with the timeline jumping around like that.
I have uninstalled and re installed several times, updated my driver and that’s about it.
Thanks

December 12, 2013 at 4:38 pm in reply to: Do I need to do anything special to burn a 8.5 dual layer DVD?Jeff,
Thanks. I did some looking and learned how to lower the bit rate in Adobe Media Encoder, which I’ve never used before. The video wasn’t that long but I experimented with 4 HD cameras this time for a pageant and it ended up being 6.6GB, something I’ve never experienced before. I bought a few DL DVD’s and you are right. They don’t give them away. I’m burning one now as a backup and learning experience in case I have to use them. Thanks for the good contact,
Art
