How can I use Photoshop to change a video picture shot at 1080p to a picture I can post on the web? (and not have it look skinny and squished)
    Thanks,
    Art

I figured it out, never mind,
    Thanks!

Editing programs offer the ability to export a still frame in a variety of file formats..

The squishing happens if the image has a non-square pixel aspect ratio. The handling is to use square pixels for the document and then resize (not constraining proportions) the image to 1920 x 1080 pixels instead of whatever it currently is .

PS doesn’t have the ability to export a specific frame. On a Mac: open your movie on Quicktime, move to the frame you want to use, cmd+copy, go to PS and paste. That’s it.
