All my things end up broken.

The DSR is set to PAL.

If I feed signals via FCP – FIREWIRE – out to CRT – the problems still exist.
So I dont even use a tape….

That helps a great deal….

The only part missing now – is something portable that the AJA card would fit into…..

Dont see myself bringing my MAC pro on location….

Does anyone know of something light and portable that one could carry around which would record uncompressed?

But should I do the keying while its HD and then downconvert?

Or: Downconvert and then do the key?

The guy in the adjacent hotelroom has an HVX-200 – and I can borrow it.

Will that give a better key? And what “mode” should I shoot in to get the best key?
( will have to downconwert to SD – before I send it back home )

Thanks Walter – as I work from hotels 80 percent of the time , I normally just bring along a DSR-11..andit has no display.

Would be nice with an app that could tell though….
