When you log clips with Log & Capture, the clips appear in your bin as you log them and before you capture them. You would simply close L&C, then export your batch.
I don’t know if you can do this with L&T. It’s something you’d need to look up in the manual and experiment with.

I do.
There is a small number of people who post frequently, get great advice, yet remain remarkably clueless. In a way, it’s quite impressive.
I try to make it a habit to not reply at all to such people, because the only thing I want to do is shout something like “Why didn’t you just do what we told you yesterday, then you wouldn’t be in this bind today!” Or “Just read the f****ing manual, already. Take a class, dammit!”
But why I really want to reply is “Why don’t you just hire a skilled editor and be done with it?”

png files support transparency without an alpha, just like psd. I think that layered tiff files may support transparency, too, but I haven’t tired it out.

You can log your clips using L&T, export a batch list, then open that up in a word processor or spreadsheet and print that. No need to capture the shots before you export & print. And you can sort the different columns in a spreadsheet to create different lists.
I think it’s File>Export>Batch List.

Those are crazy prices. Here in NYC, the cable and phone companies offer business versions of cable modem and FIOS. The pricing should be under $200 a month, and will include basic cable!

In the end, it doesn’t matter because the network will squeeze the end credits to put a promo on screen at the same time, and they’ll speed then up to get an extra commercial in.
My only rule of thumb is to avoid thin fonts, script fonts, curly fonts calligraphy fonts- generally any font that doesn’t read easily or will cause moire or flicker or lend itself to aliasing.

Stock shops like Getty & Corbis use Photo JPEG. Try that at 75% quality (high).

When I was in Moscow in the summer of ’06, I saw kiosks and storefronts that sold software, movie DVDs & music CDs. Most were bootlegs, but you could pay more for a “legit” copy in most of these places. I also saw a vending machine full of bootleg DVDs in an airport.
