You have mentioned convergent design converter system. this allows us to capture from a beta tap and then dump to another beta tape?

i was thinking a capture card was enough. but then that couldnot put video back to a beta tape. could it?

what would be the price of it ? previously we were using dps velocity with reality hardware to get and put video to beta tape.

since dps support is taken of , we searched for alternative and vegas was quite versatile.

also what would this converter system comprise of (card, breakout box)?

The png images i have are not for creating an animation frame by frame.On the otherhand each png is a image of a line in a song. Since i’m doing subtitles for song , i create these images in the PS CS2.

I’m able to import the image sequence i have as u mentioned. So it appears as a single event in the time.so i’m able to set the pixelaspect ratio as a whole for this sequence. But i think for my case that i have to place them as per the audio .

Anyway thanks for the suggestion.

The png’s is numbered sequentially img01,img02 etc.
but the pngs have different content.So i guess this is not a sequence of frames.so i’m adding them each image separately to the timeline.
so this individual image files in the same track at different positions are different events as well as separate videostreams ?

so the leading zeroes shld be added. OK after adding the leading zeroes it becomes a numbered seqeunce of images ? i’m just creating a image for each text line in Textfile. so on average i will have 60 imgs. so is this a image sequence ?

If the above is not image seqeuence , what should be the code to add 100 different images to a specifed track using script?

hi edward ,

i actually need a script to show folder dialog box and when a user chooses one folder should import the files into newly created mediabin .
and from the media bin should place the files to a track in correct numbering.

regarding numbering in vegas media tab. i have a numbered sequence of 50 pngs named img1.png to img50.png. but in the media tab after the img1.png i have img10.png instead of img2.png. can we arrange the media files by name or size etc .
