Adobe CS package seems attractive, specially if you have something to upgrade to.

I love Vegas 7. Anyone knows what SONY may have up their sleeve for Vegas 8 and when?

    Thanks, JK

    No.
Creative Suite is a powerhouse package, no doubt. So is Vegas.
If you look at them as both from bullet-point viewpoints, Vegas can’t stand very tall, because it doesn’t have a Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator, OnLocation, Ultra built in. It also doesn’t cost as much.
The bullet points aren’t where Vegas shines. Vegas is fast, intuitive, and exceptionally open-ended when it comes to ingest/output. These are subjective vs being quantifiable.

Anyone who knows, can’t tell. Anyone who tells, doesn’t know.

Vegas 8 will include a new breakthrough technology called
Nuriul-Link. It will free the editor from having to read manuals,
or learn how to use the program. It ties in directly to your brain waves via the Nuriul-Link interface which in turns inputs and interprits what you want to create. If you can picture it in your mind Vegas 8 will do the rest for you 🙂

    Chances are that they did.
Perhaps it’s time for someone to develop
the Nurial-Link Scrambler. Maybe the macrovision guys
    could work on it.
