Dit you set your workbar over the area you want to render and did you hit “Render Entire Work Bar” in the pulldownmenu under Sequence?

Capture settings are good.
CS3 does not do a very good job in exporting to dvd.

What is the resolution of the movie trailer and what is the framerate?
Are you in Pal land or Ntsc land?
Is the movie trailer going to be play from a dvd or a BlyRay or …

Nope, no mpeg1. You will have to use CS4.
Why on earth do you want mpeg1?

Make new project and import old one into.
Go to project window and double click on the imported sequence.
All effects will be present.

Look closely at the timeline if you can find any gaps (no video), the need to be closed.
For the two stills with the push transition. Redo them in a new project and import in the project. You could do the same to the small area that does not render either.
