Open in Clip Window went out of the door with Premiere Pro 1.
In CS3 open clip in Source Monitor (SM) or view clip from timeline in Program Monitor (PM). Hover with the mouse either over SM or PM and hit tilde (~) key. This will max out the panel.
You can also expand the tracks.

Are you sure its m2t because the NX5 is AVCHD or is it m2ts/mts. The latter is not supported in CS3.
Best have a look at NeoScene from Cineform to convert the files.

Don’t use Match Sequence Settings it’s likely set to the wrong codec. Use a preset or do it manually.

Copy BD to HDD and go into the STREAM directory there you will find your movie, its a m2ts file. You can import this into Premiere.

Advice for not using mpeg used to be for SD-mpeg.
CS5 handles HDV just fine. Or convert with Cineform’s NeoScene to HD-avi/mov a very easy format to edit.

I say again: CS5 handles 1080p50 very well.
If there is no preset you make it yourself.

Turk: if you have m4v files change the extention to mpg or mts that will get it imported.
