  • Open In Clip Window not in Premiere Pro

    Hello,
I currently still use Premiere 6.0 because of the feature Open In Clip Window.
It allows me to see the clip in a large size. This is very useful for me when editing the audio (i can see the wav patterns clearly) as well as the video.

However I do have Premiere CS3, but I do not see this feature anywhere. Does anybody know of this feature and know of the workaround in newer versions?

Open in Clip Window went out of the door with Premiere Pro 1.
In CS3 open clip in Source Monitor (SM) or view clip from timeline in Program Monitor (PM). Hover with the mouse either over SM or PM and hit tilde (~) key. This will max out the panel.
You can also expand the tracks.

    Hi,
Thank you very much for your reply. However I still need help.

While it is helpful to get the video/picture portion in the big screen by hitting the ~ button.
How do I get the waveforms to show bigger in the window.

Expanding the audio track is just not big enough for me. I need to be able to see the peeks in the audio waveform. It makes it easier for me to edit some clips.
Remember how big the waveform would look in the open in clip window in Premiere 6.0.
    Please advise…..

    For instance:
I need to line up 2 video clips with the same audio together.
So i need to see the wave form patterns in a bigger size, to align the audio portion of the clip.
The older version of premiere, was a good size and i was able to do it there.
