Hi there,
To add a position bounce with it’s own range selector . . . instead of adding a property to the existing animator. Add a completely new animator by clicking on the “Animate” flyout menu (as opposed to the “Add” flyout menu).

Hi there,
You don’t need a mask to use cloning. Here’s a free movie that will show you using the clone tool to remove something from a shot;https://www.video2brain.com/en/videos-1503.htm
If you want to clone from one layer to another;
1) Select the layer that you want to paint onto.
2) Select the Clone tool.
3) In the Paint panel, select the piece of footage you wish to paint from in the “Source” menu.
4) Choose a brush from the Brushes panel
5) Alt-click to select the source pixels for the Clone
6) Paint on the layerNote: You can also offset the paint in time so you can paint from a different time as well as a different place.

You can copy and paste keyframe data from the AE timeline into an Excel spreadsheet. The data appears in columns as numeric X, Y and Z vvalues.
I’m not sure if Fusion can then copy/paste or import this data but I’d be surprised/disappointed if not!Another option would be to use Mocha as it is excellent and supports AE and Fusion keyframing. Mocha AE is included in your Ae install so you may want to try that first to see if it gives you what you need.

I show you how to create the stereoscopic rig which adds all the necessary effects which have settings specifically to output for Active Shutter. I show you where you can adjust those settings within the effects. So you’ll learn how to be output-ready. However I don’t cover specific Render settings and Output Module settings for formats as these differ radically depending on the system used to view the final output.

Hi there,
This would depend on the equipment and therefore the format the movie will be viewed in. Can you ask your client what they need and which 3D system they are using? They should be able to supply you with technical specifications for their chosen format.

Great tips from Roland! Just be aware that you may need to tweak your keyframe interpolation if you do this as it will affect the velocity and speed between keyframes. Use the Graph Editor (and the info panel for reference) to do this.
You can also use the Free Transform feature in the Graph Editor to retime groups of selected keyframes. Sadly this doesn’t work across multiple layers but works over multiple properties.

Kevin’s suggestion of the sequence layers assistant is the simplest solution. Before sequencing you can trim the layers by placing the time marker where you want to trim them, selecting them all and then hitting Alt-[ (trim in point) or Alt-] (trim out point).
Also, Paul Tuersley’s Shift Layers script is fantastic, it offers much more control over layer sequencing tasks like these.
