Send a message to Youtube. Go to the bottom of the page and complain on their forums. Lots of people have had this problem (including me). And now I’m having another problem-in Firefox, I can’t log in to one of my other Youtube channels. I can do it in internet explorer, and I can log into the gmail account associated with my other Youtube channel.

But when I log in, I just keep seeing the Youtube home page as if I hadn’t logged in. This just started last night, and if it doesn’t stop, I’ll complain.

I had many, many problems with Vegas 11. I still test it out for smaller projects to see if I can get it working, which I mostly can. Even so, I really dislike the crashes with NewBlue Titler, and the inane Escape key function (anyone know how to get around this? When I do a full screen preview and hit escape, it stops the video, when it used to just stop full screen preview).

I switched back to Vegas 10.

I think what you’ll have to do, unless there’s a quicker way, is to render out a clip of the timecode running, using control and pulling the end of the clip to make it slow down.

That, or just use the Save Snapshot function right where it’s at each time you want, then put the pictures together on the timeline. You’ll have to do it for each picture and place it at every five seconds, but it’ll do it, and it’s the quickest way I can think of.

Yeah, the effect could be made by undersampling the video, or you could do it by making the shutter speed longer while shooting.

Alex Proyas did an effect like this in a music video he did, using a method like what Mike said. He used a stop watch to help him time the camera movements.

I’m assuming movie studio has these features since I use Pro, but for each project I usually go to the Track FX for the audio track, go to Track Compressor, bring Threshold down to around -25db, and Amount (x:1) all the way up. This brings up the lowest parts of the audio while bringing up the loudest parts while still keeping them from clipping.

I just started using the Wave Hammer Sound plugin at the track level to level out audio, and try that and see what level you have to set it at. From the experience I had with it on a previous project, it basically will set an overall level for the project to stay roughly within.

I also have ConvertXtoDVD 4, which I haven’t used since I got DVD Architect. It was convenient for its basically one click DVD authoring. Also, I didn’t realize this, but I just saw that I have Roxio on my computer. I’m not sure how functional it is since it must be a free version, and I vaguely remember downloading it at some point.

Anyways, I’m already well on my way with Imgburn, but at least now I know I have Roxio.

Thanks, guys. I tried to make a data disc and was able to rip the video and audio files from the DVD, but couldn’t figure out how to make a data disc in DVD Architect. I’m going to try Imgburn.

Thanks. Are either of these available in free versions that will do this? I’ve been finding information about these programs (and others) in internet searches but can’t seem to find definitely whether the free versions will let me duplicate DVDs. Specifically, I’ll have to rip the DVDs and burn them since I only have one DVD burner on my computer.

Whatever you do, make better videos than him. His videos are nice looking (according to other people, but certainly not me), boring action in which nothing interesting happens. If you could film an interesting scene of two people talking, you’ll have made a better video than anything he’s made.
