HELP!!! sorry my english in advance…

I’ve been having alot of issues with vegas pro 11, started using it as a trial and then pruchased the license. I’ve been a Sony Vegas user since Vegas 7 and despite some problems I’ve been always faithful.

Now with Vegas Pro 11 problems are on the daily basis.

The ponit is that I’ve been working on a project, a 5 min. length video with BCC FX and some 3D animations using the track motion tool.

The thing is that I just can’t render the video on any format, I’ve tried to decrease the amount ON vegas of the Dinamic RAM to 0 and rendering sub processes to 1 but nothing worked. I’have de GPU acceleration activated, I’m using an AMD Radeon HD 6900 Series with Intel Core i5-2310 CPU @2.90Hz 3.10GHz, RAM 4.00 (3.49 usable) ,
OS 32 bits, and 2 HD’s with 900 GB of space.

I’ve been trying to render just tiny pieces of the project so I can re unite them on another project but it’s a lot of work.

By the way, the project properties are 1920 x 1080 29.97 FPS just the same as the clips, as shot, and I’ve tried to render to 1920×1080 and 720×480

I’m going crazy, I need to deliver this for the end of the week!!
I don’t know what to do, I’ll really appreciate your help.

    Regards

I had many, many problems with Vegas 11. I still test it out for smaller projects to see if I can get it working, which I mostly can. Even so, I really dislike the crashes with NewBlue Titler, and the inane Escape key function (anyone know how to get around this? When I do a full screen preview and hit escape, it stops the video, when it used to just stop full screen preview).

I switched back to Vegas 10.

    Please somebody Help!

I’ve been rendering small pieces of my project so I can add them to a new one. The problem here is that when I’m rendering the part of an animation using tracking motion it just won’t render, immediately appears the “Sony Vegas Stopped Working” message

I am desperate, this is driving me nuts, and still I don’t have an answer

I had issues with build 511 and ended up going back to 426. Things work fine now. Are you using GPU acceleration? I have had very disappointing results with it using both a Radeon Card and an Nvidia card as well. One gives me crashes, the other gives me audio anomalies. They are on different machines with similar builds (AMD CPU’s Gigabyte motherboard and G-skill ram both with SSD HD’s for OS…) With all that bring said, try disabling the GPU acceleration and also when you go to render, make sure to select CPU only….(if AVC). Good luck. I also had someone tell me MIDI can be an issue as well….

    Thank you for your response!

I’ve been using the GPU acceleration as a regular configuration, I’ve also tried to Render using CPU only on AVC but still not working, maybe the BCC Fx or the animation with tracking motion are too heavy process for vegas to manage I don’t know…

But, It makes me curious about the Vegas Build 426 maybe is not so buggy like mine (B. 510) maybe I’ll give it a try. My doubt is, where can I find the Build 426?

Thanks for your advices, I’ll give’em a try.

    Greetings!!

I know in the past Mike Kujbida, has shared on where sony keeps their archived builds….I am not sure…..I keep all the builds I download for this very reason. You may actually be able to google it and find someone who has it on a torrent site or something too…
    Good luck!

There’s no need to go to a torrent site.
https://download.sonymediasoftware.com/current/ is the place to find everything your little heart desires 🙂
