Thank you for your help. I am glad I tired the Quicktime playback first. The wipes are horrible within QT. What steps should I take next to check my FCP plugins? Thank you.

Okay….so, I have now exported my Reception Sequence (2 hrs.) through compressor using the 150 min. apple template setting. I also used compressor to export my Ceremony (45 min.) through compressor using the apple template for 90 mins. I brought both of these MP@ files into DVDSP. I went from 13.3 gigs to 5.5 gigs within DVDSP. I have made progress. TWO Problems:
1. I burned normally at 5.5 and am still getting the “Not enough disk space message”
2. I then burned using the “dual layer” option in DVDSP and it burned successfully, but when playing back on TV, it stopped 3/4 of the way through my reception…freeze frame.
Any more direction on DVDSP settings once I have it to 5.5????
I’m going insane…..considering 2 discs. I really want to avoid this!
Thanks to anyone with help!!!!

Thanks for the response. I actually exported as Quicktime. Then imported into DVDSP….and was told my a friend about the fact that DVDSP will actually compress for me. So, I simply built the DVD and clicked Burn…with nothing Fancy in between. If I go back now and re-export from FCP through Compressor..what steps would I take in Compressor? What settings should I use? THANKS AGAIN

September 10, 2008 at 1:22 pm in reply to: Capture issues using Panasonic AG-DVC-80 Camera…Thanks! I actaully tried that first. One correction…I DO NOT have control of the camera through log and capture. However, I was at one point able to click capture now and I got a black screen..after pushing play on the camera?!?!? Then, I went to my Drive and found that there were some quicktime clips that I had just captured. They opened as audio only..yet I could hear nothing. There was no video, just as it appeared while the capture was taking place. This is bizzare. Thanks for anything you have to offer!

My External Hard Drive is connected to my computer by USB. Is that an issue? Thanks for the Keyboard fact. I’ll do that!
Anything else please let me know!
Thanks Again…..
