You need to burn to a dvd or Blu ray and watch it on a TV to really determine the motion.

You do not have to do that. All the clips are under the one directory.
When imported you see the files listed in PPro.

The Codec used in the HM100 is the same as a Sony EX3 and EX1.
So see if your software supports the sony ex3.

Head over the forum at DVI. There are some HM700 and some HM100 clips.

Wow, that is bad. I bet it is the camera. I have had 0 problems with my HM100U. I have used many different cards and shot in 1080i, 1080p24, 720p60

What are your Seq settings? Did you choose an NTSC 4:3 preset?
I just exported using your settings, but I exported from and HD seq.

I have the HM100 and it works GREAT with Premiere Pro CS3 and CS4.
Just make sure you are saving the files as MP4.Then copy the ENTIRE BPAV folder to a hardisk before importing to Premiere. Then use the media browser window to import the files.

I use windows and open a command prompt window.
If you want to combine several binary(video) files into one by using wildcards,include the /B switch, as the following example shows:copy /b *.mov combinedfile.mov
There are free utilities that also do this.

Premiere Pro CS3 v3.2 will. So will Premiere Pro CS4 4.1.
Make sure you import the entire file structure from the SDHC card.
ie x:\jvc\bpav\clpr etc.

I have had mine for a month. I like it, but it is a little overpriced. The reasons I bought it was
1:CCD’s. I do lots of shots with lots of motion (boats, sports, skiing) CCD does not have the CMOS jello cam.
2: 720p 60 Again this is better for sports, motion etc.
3: 35mbit codec. Very nice,
Now the HMC40 is a great camera at a great price. Only problem is CMOS sensors. CMOS is fine if you are doing steady shots etc.
HMC has 720p. Also.
