    Hey All:

I’m trying to deliver a file for digital delivery to this studio. I have nailed all of the specs but one. They want this file in Mpeg 4:2:2 and when ever I choose the 4:2:2 profile it renders out black only audio is there but no video(using Media Encoder). I imported my footage in my system using Decklink Extreme HD 3 using my betacam SP deck. the project in premiere CS4 was uncompressed 8bit. below are the specs they sent me. I am hoping some one knows why when I choose the 4:2:2 profile I get nothing but black. Thanks

    Stream Type: MPEG-2
Video Bit Rate: 18Mbps – CBR
    Frame Rate:29.97
    GOP: Closed Long GOP(IBBP)
    Aspect Ratio:4:3
    Witdth/Height:720X480
Chrome:4:2:2(HP@HL)<---THIS IS WHAT IS KICKING ME if I use 4:2:2 it renderes black only for video. If I use any other options in the profile selection menu it renders fine, but they reject it because it's not 4:2:2 as they ask Interlacing: Upper top field first(Ya I know, should be lower they want upper go figger) Audio Type: Mpeg Layer 2 Audio Sample Rate: 48KHz Audio Bit rate: 384kbps Luc Bourgeois Cygnus Video Productions LV, NV 702-432-4431 lu*@********************ns.com

What are your Seq settings? Did you choose an NTSC 4:3 preset?

I just exported using your settings, but I exported from and HD seq.
