Seems that if I use the ‘Place in After Effects’ command it works! However, both double-clicking on the effect or copy and paste no longer work. Strange!

I might wait a week or two before moving to 13 (maybe the QT7.5.5 issues is fixed by then) and see how others are getting on – not that I’m a coward or anything 🙂

So how do you make sure you don’t update the Kona 3 firmware when you install the 6.01 driver? It looks like the same installer package.

I did get back to 7.5 according to Get Info but I still had bad frame errors when trying to play M100i media. It’s fine now I’ve gone back to 10.5.4

I’m hoping the 13 release will work with 10,5,5 and the latest QT?

The job was vision only, factory shots with a music track. Of course a year later the client wants a B roll edit which really needs audio.

Lesson learnt: always get the audio – you never know when you’ll need it.

I do now export as self-cons but this is an old project and it’s not easy to go back and re-export.

I’ve found the best way to open these old projects is open them with the drives off (which stops AFX hunting for the movie data) and then deleting everything I don’t need to make the changes, so there are only a few files for AFX to load when I switch the drives on.

I’ve seen this thread before, upgrades of both Episode, QT and M100 since then but still not working. I’ll hassle the Telestream people and If I get a solution I’ll report back.
