Many thanks for that swift response.
I thought it wasn’t going to be straightforward…

Thanks very much for all those suggestions. Most useful.
I was looking at the digital download (so customers have an actual copy) because it would do away with the expense of P&P, not to mention the annoyance of storing a large quantity of discs. But the piracy issue is a concern. So what about having a password to a cloud storage site where customers could access the content whenever they wanted to, but I could also keep track of multiple use of passwords to either mention to customers as a deterrent or in fact use it as a real method to try and prevent people from giving passwords to others. Or even have my own web site to fulfill that function (store and play content). I imagine the number of people accessing the content would have an impact on the site specifications (it would need to be able to cope with multiple users accessing content with no hitches or glitches.
Any ideas on that?
Thanks a lot,
Andy

The motion title is three seconds long, taken from the middle of the 10 seconds of the original – plenty of handle room there; the film clip sent to motion to add text is similar – taken from the middle of the original clip. The odd thing is, I’ve tried the first motion title abutting another clip and the transition goes in place ok; when I put the motion title next to the film clip sent to motion to add add some text, and I hover over the join between the two with the transition, it shows that it ‘seems to be happy’ to go on the film clip part, as it highlights in brown on that side, with no brown highlighting on the motion clip, and when I release the mouse the transition defaults to a fraction of a second – but clearly there’s not a problem with the motion clip itself as I’ve just used it with another clip of film… Any ideas?

Thanks. But now I’m a little confused as to whether to convert to the f4v (media encoder’s default setting)or the flv format (which web designer has instructed) – which is better, and briefly why? Can you point me in the direction of an article to read as I’ve had a good look and can’t find the information I’m after.
Cheers,

Thanks – the audio was there, no problem. Just below the playhead it said ‘group 1’ all along the timeline, on a darker blue background. I got rid of this somehow, and it did the trick. Don’t understand it, but there you are…
Cheers anyway

I’m inserting slugs by putting the playhead in the gap I’ve left, hitting x, then removing the out marker, and dropping the slug on the ‘fit to fill’ box in the canvas. Dip to colour dissolve and Fade in fade out dissolve are the two transitions I am working with… Any ideas?

I imported 3 seconds of the Motion titles for each film. I’ve got round the problem by reimporting, but still have no idea why some work and some don’t, when I seem to have followed the same procedure…
Cheers
