Got to disagree… Premier interface is much more user-friendly, however powerful FCP is…

Great, thanks. Is there a setting somewhere that will enable FCP6 to capture shots individually – i.e. break up my footage into the real-time shots that I took? Thanks

Hmm, just checked the effects tab, which contains video transitions, audio transitions etc: not in there. As well as having tabs in the middle window, they are listed in the filters tab in that same window, but again, there is no obvious way of actually deleting these!

No. No audio, no video – just black backgrounds with six buttons (A couple with four) and a bit of text.

No. I started off by putting motion menus in, wth a 28 second audio and video MPEG2, but ended up creating my own blank menu templates, because there was some problem with the Encore templates I had chosen – in fact, I’ve had loads of problems with Encore in CS4… So they have nothing but a black background and most have six buttons with text beneath them.

From the main menu there are six submenus, and three of these have a further submenu, or ‘continuing menu’. So 10 altogether.

Yes, there is audio with the video on the MPEG2s – once the MPEG2 file is complete, can it ‘grow in size’ when you import it into another piece of software? I’ll give it a go.

Yep, no ROM content that I can see…

Thanks. The videos are in MPEG2 and come to about 50 minutes in duration. There’s no cd-rom content either… What else could be taking up that amount of space?
