Thanks for the replies fellas. I wound up exporting my sequence from Premiere in MPEG2 then importing into Encore. From there I was able to encode a DVD to loop back to the beginning once it reaches the end.

Thanks for that tip regarding making a sequence. That step was actually covered in a previous tutorial (as you probably know) but for some reason, I became logged out of Lynda at some point so whenever I hit the ‘next video’ button it just took me to the next ‘free example’ video. So I ended up jumping way ahead of where I was. At any rate, back on track now and will not double post in the future. Have a good weekend.

  • Thats remarkable.

Our camera dept made a mistake and one camera on one take recorded at 40 fps today. The editor wanted to screen the material in a usable form so I made a sequence of just the NG clip, then tried to apply a timewarp to the picture. As you may have guess, there was a constat drift that I was not able to overcome.

At any rate, once I get the camera file I im going to give the mix and match method a shot. Thanks – Have a good weekend!

  • Thanks for you time, guys.

Michael, Im not familiar with the “mix and match”. If you have a moment could you describe how to perform such a thing? You mentioned AMA – Would I somehow link the 23.98 audio file with with 40fps picture?

Im curious; Is the term “16×9 Anamorphic” redundant? Isn’t 16×9 inherently anamorphic?

So strange – This is still happening. If I export a sequence with unrendered audio suite effects, Media Composer will render the sequence when it starts the export. The render files will be written to my internal HD even though its filtered out. If I render the sequence beforehand (on any of our unity clients) its exports without any problems. I know how to avoid the problem but does anyone know how to fix it?

Sadly I lost my battle with the DRM … I ended up getting the episode in a torent. So much for doing the right thing.

  • Hi guys,

My mixer is not receiving time compressions from aaf’s exported from my avid. He is however receiving EQ renders. Do either of you know what the issue might be?

Curious; What version of Media Composer did you export from?
