First of all, backup of your project, just in case. Just export it as a .drp file.
In the media pool, select everything and hit Ctrl | Cmd-X (Cut). Now that your media pool is empty, you can go to project settings and change the framerate, it will be unlocked. After adjusting the project settings, go back to the media pool and hit Ctrl | Cmd-V (Paste). When asked if you want to change the project framerate, answer ‘No’. That’s it. Now your project has a different framerate.
You can use the same method if you need to change the timeline framerate. Select all clips on the timeline, cut, change timeline settings, and paste back. Just be aware that some of the clips might have a small shift of the in-out points.

Is your source clip in mp4 format by any chance? Switching hardware decoding might help. If it’s on, try to turn it off, and vice versa.
Also, while tracking it is better to monitor the tracker node, not media out. Drag the node into one of the viewers, or select it and press 1 or 2 for the left or right viewer.

I’d leave alone the changes introduced by the lens flare and concentrate just on making the clip look good and consistent with the previous/next clips on the timeline.

This happens because your master resolution has a different aspect ratio.

Had this problem with mixed Alexa/Canon 5D timeline, some shots were couple of frames off (both Alexa and Canon). In my case the cause of the problem was J and L cuts. Try to remove audio from FCP timeline and re-export XML, maybe it’ll help. Although i’ve removed audio, it fixes most of the shifts, but i still had to fix some shots manually.

You can import them directly to the stills gallery of your project (right click – Import).
But yes, as Joseph noted, you should check compliancy of the stills to your target colorspace and levels.Andrew Shtern

There is no difference. However, node approach allows you to fine tune the result, by adding adjustments after the LUT.

Obviously the Resolve is a not compositing tool, and it’s almost impossible to pull a clean and decent key and compose image over background. However, is you just need it clear enough for preview, you can use additional input node in your node tree (right click – Add Another Input), get Alexa LUT in it, tweak the bluescreen and key it out, and then pass the resulting key to Alpha Output (right click – Add Alpha Output), while feeding main output from your grade.
