    First of all, i’m wandering, is someone from BM really consider our thoughts? Let’s hope so. But the history of updates shows the contrary – they prefer to add new features despite of people needs. Easier to implement, not the most needed.

    As of requests – i support all of them.
    My 5 cents (both new features and bug fixes):

    1) Add the ability to split screen with offline, while tampering with input sizing in Edit page;
    2) Completely change principle of folder naming when rendering clips in separate folders. Add custom name, macro templates etc. I’m totally tired of this “Event_Version” BS. Custom naming of the clips in timeline would also be nice;
    3) Get flags and markers in order. Show markers, that set on the first frame of the clip (now they’re invisible). Respect XML timeline and clip markers;
    4) When clip selected in timeline, pressing Delete deletes this clip, NOT it’s source in media pool (this is soooo stupid);
    5) PowerCurve and polygonal shape keyframes still doesn’t work – you can animate size/pan/tilt/rotation, but not the shape of curve/polygon;
    6) Unify controls for all power windows. Why is it impossible to change inner/outer softness of circular window, or the aspect of linear window? Is there any logical explanation to this???

    That’s all i can remember for now, but there’s definitely more.
    Let’s hope, that we will be heard.

  • I think it would be more convenient, if sort settings (among other custom settings) will be saved with project. Definitely must have feature.

  • Everything is set to 25fps, including timeline.

    In Lite, Phantom footages shown as 24fps even in media browser, prior to importing in media pool.
    In full version the same footage is shown as 25fps.

    Yeah, but that’s not an issue, since 10.0.2 is working way faster, than 10.1

    Yeah, i’ve had similar issue with general performance. Most things are significantly slower, like working with power windows for example (when resizing or moving window it’s stuttering). This version even start about twice longer comparing to 10.0.2.
    I’m on MacPro 2012 with 56Gb RAM and Quadro 4000. Rolling back to 10.0.2.

    Why are you messing with keyboard shortcuts again and again?

    Map keyboard to Resolve 8 – doesn’t working. It’s now mapping to Resolve 9 shortcuts (kind of). In this mapping Append a Node (Alt-N) shortcut doesn’t working.
    Everything was fine in 10.0.2, and yet somebody still wants to play with key mappings. And again, it is not Resolve 8 shortcuts.

    C’mon, guys, we are trying to work here, please stop making our life harder than it already is. Better concentrate on something useful, like working cache, or custom clip directory names when rendering separate clips, or something else, that is really necessary. And if you want to experiment – please, do it with Lite version.

    Thanks for comprehension.

    December 12, 2013 at 8:12 am in reply to: Markers – how to see them?

    UPD: It seems, that it is impossible to see markers, that set at the first frame of the clip. And i think it is definitely a bug.

  • It seems, that first issue had been fixed in release version.
    However, second question remaining open…
