Well I’m first assuming your working with standard definition…

working with the 720×480 comp set to 1.2 pixel aspect ratio or the widescreen comp. your logo’s should be set to square if they are external images or photoshop files. they should look okay in the comp that is 1.2 par when viewing the correction.

    Is your footage interlaced?
I don’t believe you are suggesting the edges are bad but that the overall image is soft.

If your footage is interlaced, make sure your footage is set to Lower fields first for NTSC and that the rendered is also set this way.

You can also try to to separate fields to none and render no fields as long as your final output is interlaced this should also work.

Now are you using a high quality codec, most people suggest qt animation but tent to use photojpg at about 98 percent.
either way depends on disk space.

    good luck

what happens if you lower the multiplyer.

also you can make the scale effect smaller then use a null object(link the layer to it) to scale the down beat to be at the scale you want for the small state then the large state should still be relative in size.

Sure matte painting, Sky replacement, Set extentions, If you use 3d space, you “3d composited” these elements.
Show before and afters, and this plate plus this plus this and show final.

don’t get detailed with every liitle thing, it may seem like your stretching for acknoledment when you should let your work speak for itself.

Not to worry, the golf game only seems to be affecting my ability to drive and operate heavy machinery. Needless to say tiger woods is safe. for now.

As for the DVD… an official announcement will be coming around probably next week. It will be a AE 7 Tutorial dvd on, basically (cool) visual effects.
A list of tutorials and video samples should be out soon as well.

    END PLUG~~~~~~~~{=
