    Posterize time essentially shows you 24 frames out of the 30. The tutorial uses frame interpolation generate intermediate frames that make the motion smoother and more fluid also the end result is true 24 fps.

    yadjust=this_comp.layer(“adjuster”).position[1];
    yadjust.valueAtTime(time-3.00)

    Maybe this? Didn’t check it but somtimes I have trouble when I put everything together in one line. You can also make the second line a variable if you need to refer to it in later code.

    precompose and then add a mask or,
    create a new solid add your mask to it. place it above the 3d layer and change the track matte of the 3d layer to alpha matte.

    Well if you’re using the timewarp function or Pixel motion, then you may see issues during fast movement. For more control over the setting of the timewarp, precompose your footage at normal speed and use the timewarp effect plug-in. There are many helpful setting that will allow you to blend area’s after effects can’t “guess”.

    Good Luck,

    search for 2:3 pulldown. Try using the guess pulldown option. depending on how it was shot you may try the 24pa option as well.

    This works on an animation preset…

    thing=text.animator(“Animator 1”).selector(“Range Selector 1”).offset
    thing.valueAtTime(time – 0.1)

    Try something like this and paste it to your animation in this case I used an animation preset.

    But you want to do it like this

    thing=YOURVALUE(or whatever shows up when you alt click a parameter.
    thing.valueAtTime(time – 0.1)

    Then change 0.1 to what ever you need.

    DVDs do play 23.976( probably the best choice too) but if you need a 29.97 dvd, add a pulldown to the 24p footage in AE. When you render add a pull-down and it will make the 24p fit into a 29.97 comp.

    I hope this helps,
    Andrew

    I’ve undated the settings to be a bit more universal.

    Refresh the pages and give it a try.
