Posterize time essentially shows you 24 frames out of the 30. The tutorial uses frame interpolation generate intermediate frames that make the motion smoother and more fluid also the end result is true 24 fps.
Maybe this? Didn’t check it but somtimes I have trouble when I put everything together in one line. You can also make the second line a variable if you need to refer to it in later code.

Well if you’re using the timewarp function or Pixel motion, then you may see issues during fast movement. For more control over the setting of the timewarp, precompose your footage at normal speed and use the timewarp effect plug-in. There are many helpful setting that will allow you to blend area’s after effects can’t “guess”.
DVDs do play 23.976( probably the best choice too) but if you need a 29.97 dvd, add a pulldown to the 24p footage in AE. When you render add a pull-down and it will make the 24p fit into a 29.97 comp.
