I received an email from Albert Chu,Support Engineer at Blackmagic Design Inc., he suggested using a shorter length HDMI cable, I was using 12 feet. I went to a 6 feet cable and all is working perfectly now. I want to say thanks to Albert for his help.

I had a similar problem. The answer was to use a shorter length HDMI cable. I went from a 12 feet to a 6 feet cable and it works flawlessly.

Have you received any info on how to have HDMI monitor out from the Multibridge Pro? Please help me. Thank you.

  • It happened to me too. I uninstalled and then reinstalled the Blackmagic drivers and that was it.

  • How do you set your DeckLink Preferences then? There is a post down below from a guy that cannot capture analog audio and SDI video. Do you think this would work for him?

It seems that in order to be able to capture analog audio, you must feed some kind of analog video also. Try by connecting any video source to the composite in.

  • OK, so you found a work around for a driver problem, that is good, and thanks for sharing your solution, but nevertheless, this is a driver issue that should be corrected by BM. It does’nt say in any BM manual, nor product brochure, quite the contrary, that to capture only audio through XLR inputs, you have to feed a dummy analog video signal. This is obviously a problem.
