Multibridge Extreme: No VTR control after running software update
Hey everyone
Running FCP 6.0.1 and OS X 10.4.11, on a Quad Core 2.5 G5, 2 GB RAM. I recently ran software update, and it seems that I’ve suddenly lost deck control within both FCP and the BlackMagic Deck Control utility.
Any advice/help would seriously be appreciated. I’m a bit under the gun, and can’t figure this out. All cables check out, etc. The only factor that’s changed is that I ran Software Update. That’s the last time I update my software…

It happened to me too. I uninstalled and then reinstalled the Blackmagic drivers and that was it.

Thanks for the response, Andres. I ended up doing the same thing – I uninstalled the drivers, then installed the newest release. VTR control is back.
While I’m glad everything is fixed, it is a bit disconcerting that this problem sprung up out of nowhere in the first place.
