    Thanks my friend but..

how do you manage the 8GB of ram in After effects ?

As far as I know the After effects just can read 2GB of ram.
I will update my Windows XP to windows XP64 but this will read the 8GB?

Is it something that I have to set in after effects to read that amount of ram ??

    Thanks for your help.

    Hey

Have you tried to make the mask in a new adjustment layer or null layer ? This is the way you apply a mask to a layer without making this one in the same layer

    Hey

You need to stick track point on greenscreen. You may use blue track point, red or even white but you must have in mind that track point must be seen on shot while it takes place. If you are gonna make a zoom you will need at least 3 track point.
Just put them like a triangle and remember because it seems you haven’t than this, keep them inside th shoot. Afterwards when you have the track data you will use it to delete track points too

No, the temporal blur effect I am looking for is the one that blur the image that is in movement and keep without effect the rest.

I use this to blur motion to try fast motion effect and keep the background in perfect focus.

I have that one in AE 7 but I will have to do this effect with AE 6.5.

If you have any idea please help me.

August 2, 2007 at 5:38 pm in reply to: how to move field by field

Let me see if I have understood everything.

First of all I have to import the footage with fields ( odd ) and create a composition with double frame rate of the footage. In my case 50 ftp because I am in argentina PAL.

Now I have fields as frames. Moving frame by frame I will be moving the footage fields by field OK!!!!

Now how will I render the image to have the final footage in pal again at 25 ftp with fields ?

    Thanks.
