but 2 fields are different images with different contents, for exampli in case of a mask.

if you import footage in frame you will lose one filed or you will have them interpolated in the same image. Here you have a problem. Rememeber that in 1 field you see odd lines and in the other one even lines. you need to import the footage in fields.

I get your point but up to now I can’t move my timeline and current view to field by field having different images step by step
